Ski mountaineering on Monte Bondone

Ski mountaineering is challenge, emotion, and gazes on the horizon. 
On Monte Bondone it is possible to find several ski mountaineering routes to discover the 3 Peaks and a route that reaches Palon from Vaneze overcoming 800 m of elevation gain. For enthusiasts, Monte Bondone is an excellent training ground while enjoying breathtaking views of the Valle dei Laghi and towards the city of Trento.

We care about your safety

For everyone's safety and in compliance with Provincial Law 07/1987 all slopes in the entire ski area are not accessible outside opening hours. 

Outside opening hours, the slopes are NOT ACCESSIBLE to anyone, neither uphill nor downhill; the grooming machines are working to prepare the slopes for the following day (in some areas also using a winch) and restoration and maintenance of safety nets and signage are underway. Ski ascent, in the Monte Bondone ski area, can only be done beyond the slope boundary and only during lift opening hours. The route has been marked with appropriate signs by the Local Police.

During the night skiing evenings on Tuesday and Thursday (when scheduled):

For organizational reasons and to protect skiers who come for night skiing, on evening openings the slope preparation work in the ski area resumes after 10:30 PM.
It is essential that all ski mountaineers have left the area by 10:30 PM
The bar at Sole 2098 is open or closed to the public at the sole discretion of the manager.

Subjects practicing ski mountaineering, off-piste skiing, and hiking activities

Based on Legislative Decree 40-2021, starting from 01/01/2022, it will be mandatory for individuals practicing ski mountaineering, off-piste skiing, or hiking activities in particular snowy environments, where, due to snow and weather conditions, there are avalanche risks, to equip themselves with appropriate electronic signaling and search systems (ARTVA), shovel, and snow probe, to ensure proper rescue intervention.
