It is with conviction and a sense of responsibility that I present the Sustainability Report of Trento Funivie, a tool through which we want to share the results achieved, our strategic vision and the commitment that guides us every day in building a sustainable future, together with all of you.
We operate in a natural context of exceptional beauty: the mountain of Trento is not only the place where we work, but it is our product, our distinctive value and the reason why visitors choose us. Environmental protection is, therefore, a priority that does not derive only from a sense of ethical duty, but from a deep awareness: if we do not protect the territory, we lose what we have most precious.
But this commitment cannot disregard the real needs of the tourism market. We want to meet the expectations of those who choose the mountain, reconciling quality, attractiveness and sustainability. We are convinced that it is possible to develop tourism that is respectful and competitive at the same time, capable of generating long-term value.
In this path, we also strongly feel our economic responsibility towards the territory: generating jobs, investing continuously, supporting the local economy.
Trento Funivie is and wants to continue to be an engine for the community, offering stability, opportunities and growth. At the same time, we recognize a social responsibility: that of making the mountain accessible and allowing new and old generations to continue to experience skiing as a cultural, educational and identity experience.
Over the past year, we have carried out significant interventions in environmental, social and economic fields. We have invested in innovation in order to reduce environmental impact, strengthened relationships with local realities, and worked to offer an authentic and sustainable mountain experience. But the challenges do not stop: climate change, seasonality, transformations in consumption models push us to innovate, listen, and act with foresight.
It is precisely for this reason that, today more than ever, we want to reaffirm a principle that is fundamental for us: sustainability is built only through open, transparent and constant dialogue with all stakeholders. No project has value if it is not shared, no choice is solid if it does not come from a true confrontation.
We therefore invite all those who live, work and love the mountain to actively participate in this path. The doors of Trento Funivie are open: to ideas, suggestions, constructive criticism. Because the future of the mountain is built together.
