With an elevation difference of 435 meters, the Palon Chairlift allows you to reach the Palon Summit at 2098 meters above sea level. The Palon summit is open all around. Its position, right in the central point of Trentino, offers an incredible view of the mountains of our region. A majestic panorama, which can be reached from Vason after a nice uphill hike or comfortably admiring the view from the chairlift.

You can admire the Brenta Dolomites (with Cima Tosa, the most characteristic of the group with its recognizable square shape, and the peak of Cima Brenta), the Adamello group with Carè Alto, looking west. The Rotaliana Plain to the north and the Lagarina Valley to the south, the Latemar and the Dolomites to the east with the Pinè lakes, the Vigolana group and the Folgaria plateau to the south/east, the Lake Valley to the south/west.
Nearby, you can admire the wonderful Viote plain with the Three Peaks of Bondone (Cornetto, Doss D’Abramo, Cima Verde).

An aperitif at altitude at the "Al Sole" Bar

At the top of Palon you will find the Al Sole Bar, which will keep you company with bar and coffee service while the crisp air at 2000 meters altitude will delight you even under the August sun. A little advice: the Bondone sun is famous for giving a splendid tan, so don't forget the sunscreen!

The Bondone dwarf pine trail

From the Palon Summit it is possible to return to Vason along the Dwarf Pine Trail. The trail connects the summit and the Bondone pass passing through the very fragrant dwarf pine bushes, a characteristic shrub that grows only at high altitude and characterizes the upper part of the mountain. It is an old military trail, highly panoramic, capable of intoxicating the eyes with views and the nose with scents. The descent is facilitated by the zigzag path, but it is always recommended to walk it with appropriate footwear.

a few meters from the valley station.

Trento Guest Card holders receive a reduced fare on the round-trip ticket.

APERTURA ESTIVA DELLA SEGGIOVIA DEL PALON

La seggiovia del Palon riapre per il mese di agosto, per permettere a tutti i Bondoneri di salire in vetta, godersi lo spettacolo di una vista a 360 gradi e una passeggiata nel cuore dell'Alpe di Trento.

Trento Funivie Spa – in collaborazione con gli Sci Club ed i Maestri di Sci del territorio - organizza per lunedì 01 aprile 2024, ultimo giorno di apertura degli impianti, una Gimkana goliardica in cui la velocità non sarà tutto.

Per ragioni tecniche volte a preservare il piano sciabile in migliori condizioni durante le ore diurne, anche con le attuali situazioni di frequentazione dell’alta stagione, LO SCI NOTTURNO di MARTEDI 20 e GIOVEDI 22 FEBBRAIO 2024 è sospeso

APERTURA SKIAREA MONTE BONDONE RINVIATA

A causa delle avverse condizioni meteo siamo costretti a rinviare l’apertura prevista per domani sabato 02 dicembre 2023 per ragioni di sicurezza.

La Società Trento Funivie chiude il bilancio al 30 giugno 2023 in positivo per 639.439 euro. Un risultato dovuto agli ottimi risultati della stagione 2022-23 che registra i migliori risultati di sempre in tutti i dati caratteristici dell’attività.

A soli 18 chilometri della città si trova la skiarea del Monte Bondone, ampia e variegata, ideale “palestra dello sci” soprattutto per i bambini, ma non solo...

Sul Monte Bondone manca ancora qualche figura professionale per preparare al meglio la stagione 2023/2024.
