RCT Insurance Obligation
for skiers

From January 1, 2022, all skiers and snowboarders must be insured with a liability insurance policy, under penalty of a fine from 100 to 150 euros in addition to the withdrawal of the ski pass.
“The skier who uses alpine ski slopes must have a valid insurance policy covering their civil liability for damages or injuries caused to third parties. It is mandatory for the operator of equipped ski areas, excluding those reserved for cross-country skiing, to provide users, at the time of purchasing the transit ticket, with a liability insurance policy for damages caused to people or property.”.

If you do not already have liability insurance or have not subscribed to a family head liability policy covering the family unit for damages caused to third parties, you can purchase it at the same time as buying the ski pass. It can be valid daily or seasonally.

ITASnow

ITASnow covers you in case of civil liability – compensating damages you may unintentionally cause to third parties during sporting activity. 
It guarantees reimbursement of medical and rescue expenses in case of accident.
€3.00 per day (per person)
 €30.00 seasonal (per person)

In case of multi-day ski pass, with a minimum of three consecutive days, or seasonal, it also guarantees you additional expense reimbursements:

NEW - Family Cover
Refund for one parent and one minor child in case one of the two suffers an injury
